The Curtain Hardware Company has been a wholesale supplier of Drapery Hardware since 1976 and has been a pioneer of many developments such as Motorisation.

The business supplies tracks and hardware componentry for industries such as Hotels, Offices, Schools, Churches, Crematoriums and Aged Care Facilities plus everyday living at Home or Apartment Units.

VGP acquired both The Curtain Hardware Company in NSW, TraxWest in Western Australia and Remlap Tracking in South Australia.

To help facilitate the continued growth and enduring success of Curtain Hardware Australia, in 2023 VGP divested a majority interest to the Private Equity firm 3G Capital via their subsidiary, Hunter Douglas Australia, the global leader in window furnishings.

VGP has retained a meaningful minority interest.

ABC Licence Training

ABC First Aid is one of Australia’s best regarded and longest running First Aid Businesses. A Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that commenced operation in 2008, it provides the platform, materials, compliance and IP to enable co-providers and trainers to deliver market leading First Aid Training.

Most of the Trainers have worked with ABC long term and are very experienced. The majority of training is conducted by trainers onsite for schools, child-care centers mining companies and medical centers.

Venture Growth Partners commenced discussions with the previous owner of ABC First Aid in early 2020 and acquired the business in January 2021.

ClearWaste

ClearWaste (formerly Environmental Separator Maintenance) is Queensland’s premier liquid waste and wastewater business. Founded in 1996, ClearWaste specialises in the design, installation and maintenance of wastewater equipment and offers ancillary services in all areas of liquid waste.

After 24 years, the vendor was seeking an exit that rewarded the value he created whilst preserving client and employee relationships. Venture Growth Partners was able to structure a transaction which met the vendor’s expectations and ensured that all existing employees were retained.

Since acquiring the business, Venture Growth Partners has rebranded, relaunched the website and brought in several high-level industry experts to help steward the future growth of the business.

EzFurn

EZFurn is Australia’s leading importer and wholesaler of commercial furniture for the hospitality and office markets. Since 2009, EzFurn’s has effectively utilised sophisticated supply chain management (from sourcing, manufacturing and importing through to complex logistics management) to offer premium commercial furniture at extremely competitive rates. In addition to high quality products from highly regarded and recognised European brands, EzFurn has exclusive manufacturing arrangements with many factories throughout the world.

VGP acquired EzFurn in 2023 and we look forward to powering the continual growth trajectory of the business.

Quickcheck

Quickcheck is a property compliance business which helps property owners take the stress and hassle out of property management.

The expert team of electricians works with property owners, managers and agents to ensure that their property meets the legislative requirements. Services include Smoke Alarm Upgrades, annual Compliance checks as well as ancillary electrical and property management tasks.

VGP acquired QuickCheck in 2022.
