Edward is a Recovering Lawyer and the founder of a business that grew from kitchen table to public listing. He has built, bought and grown many other businesses in the last ten (10) years. Some have underperformed, most have enjoyed at least modest success.
In each transaction and in every interaction, Edward is searching for energy, enthusiasm, learning, improvement, joy and positive action in all things.

John Liston has advised, founded and invested in small businesses for over a decade in both Australia and the United Kingdom.
Since 2019, John has led numerous acquisitions and divestments across a range of sectors including manufacturing, financial, education, property, and service-based businesses.
In his role as Chairman of Liston Newton Advisory, an AFR Top 100 Accounting and Wealth advisory firm – John has guided the growth of the firm across Accounting, Financial Advice, Bookkeeping, Lending, and Corporate Advisory services in Victoria, NSW, and Queensland.
John holds a Bachelor of Communications and a Master of Applied Finance.
